Stage 1 vs Stage 2 Remap: Which Is Right for Your Car?
Stage 1 is a remap of the ECU software with no hardware changes. It's the right choice if your car is otherwise standard and you want a noticeable jump in power and torque without spending a fortune. Booking in, driving away in under two hours, ~£249.
Stage 2 assumes you've already fitted supporting hardware — usually a decat or sports cat, a high-flow induction kit, and on some platforms an uprated intercooler. The map is written around those mods so the engine can flow more air and exhaust gas safely.
If you're not planning hardware upgrades, Stage 1 is the right call. If you've already spent on bolt-ons, Stage 2 unlocks the gains they were designed to deliver. We'll never sell you a Stage 2 if your car can't use it.
